Do I have to register before Election Day?
Yes. Florida's registration deadline for the November 3, 2026 General Election is October 5, 2026.
Where do I vote on Election Day?
Your polling place is based on your assigned precinct. Use your county Supervisor of Elections or official Florida voter lookup resources to confirm the current location.
Can I vote before Election Day?
Yes. Florida offers early voting at designated locations within your county.
Can I vote by mail?
Yes. A vote-by-mail request is made through your county Supervisor of Elections.
When are polls open?
Florida Election Day polls are open from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM local time.
What if I am still in line at 7:00 PM?
If you are in line at 7:00 PM local time, you are still eligible to cast your ballot.
Vote-by-mail requests must be made through the voter's county Supervisor of Elections.
The deadline to request that a General Election ballot be mailed is October 22, 2026.
A completed vote-by-mail ballot must be received, regardless of postmark, by the Supervisor of Elections by 7:00 PM local time on Election Day, except where special rules apply to eligible overseas voters.
